"We were not that far sighted to develop an IS vision with our Heart Hospital vision. CardioPulse (formerly CAOS) was simply my idea based on what I had seen in your presentations in Ohio. When I came here there was absolutely no functioning infrastructure and as you have heard me say before, CardioPulse provided the skeleton around which we could build our new Heart Hospital and it did this beyond my wildest dreams. The fact that we were in a state with a coronary report card and the fact that my charge was to rebuild a program with the worst report card every year running, mandated that we have a workable system. Somewhere also in the back of my mind was the database that the Cleveland Clinic had for their research and CardioPulse was an easy way of duplicating that. Sometimes I sit and wonder how I was smart enough to know that this is what we needed. Of course it would not have worked and I would not have looked so good had it not been for our support staff.

"CardioPulse (formerly CAOS) has been our vendor for STS since 1999. We had been server based until January 2009, when we converted to their web based solution. Since our conversion, we have recognized many features that were not possible under our server based structure. They include - seamless upgrades with little (or no) local IS support required, schedule maintenance with little "downtime", access to CardioPulse anywhere and no dependence local network services. Additionally, we have noticed a much faster response on our web based product, which has been a welcomed feature.
Our only regret was not doing this sooner!"

"We were fortunate that one of our earliest and best business decisions was to hire IBS Inc. to manage the billing and coding arm of the new practice. From the beginning we were assigned a dedicated professional as our account representative. I am absolutely confident that our claims are coded accurately and to their fullest potential, and our representative insures that our billing is pursued until the last dollar is received. Additionally the Electronic Billing and Record System, which IBS has provided us, serves as a platform for both the Society of Thoracic Surgeons Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Databases. The IT support in helping us get these data bases up and running and keeping them running has been invaluable"
"Our IBS account representative is an integral and vital team member for our practice, and she is a key component in the success of our growing practice. We have absolute confidence in the integrity and the professional capability of the IBS team."

"Our hospital has been using CardioPulse (formerly CAOS) since 2005 to submit data to the STS General Thoracic Surgery Database. The software is extremely intuitive and the Internet based model of delivery allows for great flexibility, as I can access my data from home, should I need to.
Their technical support is outstanding and unlike other companies, a real person with in depth technical knowledge is always available to answer the phone and troubleshoot issues.
We look forward to continuing our relationship with CardioPulse for years to come and would certainly recommend their product to others in the industry."

"Kipp, John P. and the support staff really saved us the other day when our data entry tech inadvertently deleted our Organization profile....essentially wiping out our data.
They were very quick to respond to our issues and had us restored and working the same morning."

"Submitting to the ACC through CardioPulse (formerly CAOS) could not be easier. The software is user friendly and I have always received excellent customer support and immediate assistance when needed. We also have an interface between our Hemodynamic system and CardioPulse, which really cuts down on the time I spend entering data."
